Hi All,

We are looking to buy some tree guards and stakes.

Does anyone know who has the best price at the moment for 100-200 units?

Is anyone interested in a bulk buy?

HI Matt. The next newsletter has information about new Tree guards.

stakes can be purchased in Seymour, a Yooralla initiative. Phone Rosalie on 5799 0311.

New tree guards have been developed by
Arborgreen and will be
available from September 2021.

They are proposed as industry's first tube guard that's 100%
biodegradable

This video describes the easy use of the guard and how they have been by a forestry group. video

They are a substitute for the corflu guards that we use now, or
similar to what we use.

Thank you Janet for the
information. Arborgreen web site

Hello Matt, if you're keen to recycle we have a bunch of guards and stakes probably not the numbers you need but we have more coming off our landcare plantings all the time. Are you doing a big one-off planting or would you be okay with a slow drip effect? Usually there are a lot floating around the community too, saves on new buys and putting more plastic out there!?

I think the drip feed option is good. We need around 100 to protect some new plantings.
